About

I'm a software engineer on Microsoft - Azure Compute, working where distributed systems, networking and data infrastructure meet. My work is the unglamorous kind that everything else depends on: the ingestion path, the cross-region network, the storage layer, the multi-region deployment that has to land everywhere without a blip.

Before Azure Compute I spent nearly three years in 4G/5G core networking, writing control-plane and data-plane C++ for a mobile gateway — packet processing, QoS, traffic prioritisation and Kubernetes-orchestrated workloads.

I care about measurable outcomes over activity. Ingestion latency down 93%. Data-plane throughput up 30%. New data sources onboarding 97% faster. If a change can't be benchmarked, I'm suspicious of it.
